Nigeria and Netherland Come into Partnership on Dairy Farming Development

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development , Chief Audu Ogbeh recently embarked on a two-day working tour to Netherlands.
The minister inspected dairy farms in Netherlands during a two-day working tour of Royal Friesland Campina facilities.

Conducting the tour is Chief Executive Officer, Friesland Campina - Mr. Roelof Joosten.

The visit saw to the renewal of the MoU on strengthening dairy development in Nigeria; academic and technical support in the areas of developing skills for artificial insemination of local breeds; training of trainers in dairy farm management and a N3 billion investment in Nigeria's  dairy development by Friesland Campina.

I perceive that the future we have all long awaited in Nigeria is finally come; when the government begin to see how necessity agriculture as become in the world for any nation that wants to be financially relevant and make his people of great impact on livelihood, health, economy and food production.

I hope this will reach farmers like us and we'd benefit from it soon.
